This past week, I featured my newest bag that I added to my collection. This purse is the one featured in the picture above. It is a Louis Vuitton Pochette dupe and I’m obsessed with it. I’ve been scouring amazon for it for months now and finally found it for a great price! When it comes to amazon and their dupes, you have to be very diligent with looking at their prices. Most of these purses are not worth anything more than $100. I featured a few on here that much or a little more and that’s only to give you options. Overall, it’s your money and your choice. My personal preference and advice would be to wait it out and see if the price goes down (because it usually does). Alrighty, let’s jump into it:

Welcome or welcome back friends,

As you may know, the 4th of July is just a few days away and I always like to wear something festive for the occasion. It’s that one time a year where we deck ourselves in Stars, Stripes, Red, White, and blue and wear it with pride. Today I wanted to share with your my DIY Project that I worked on with my $7 “Made in the USA” tee I bought at Marshall’s. I loved the tie in the front feature the tee had and the cute saying on the front right hand side but there was something missing to it. I realized that the neckline just wasn’t my style. I always tug at necklines like this because of my larger chest and I decided that I was going to alter it. Watch the video below to see how I changed this cute tee from a scoop neck to a keyhole tee.

What you Need:

  • T-shirt
  • Scissors (preferably fabric but mine were not, so it can be done with either)
  • An instrument that measures your keyhole out (I used a phone case, you can use anything or nothing. It’s up to you.)

  • How to:

      • Lay your tee out flat in front of you, neckline closest to you.Decide how deep your want your v neck to go before you start. (It helps to try it on and see where would be best on your body, then do that before you begin.)Lift the front part of the neckline up and cut a tiny hole right where the collar ends on each side. You want to do this ONLY on the front of the tee, DO NOT cut anything on the back part of the tee. These holes are to help when you start cutting out your keyhole.Place the bottom part of your scissors into one of the holes and start cutting in a diagonal towards the center of the shirt. Once you’ve reached your center mark, then move to the opposite side and repeat that step there.

      Once you v neck is cut out then grab that excess fabric and flip it up towards you. Take your scissors and place them to the bottom side of the collar. Cut that excess fabric off.

      Congrats, you now own a DIY Keyhole Tee!

    Great job, see how simple that was!? Plus, it makes wearing it so much more personable. No one else has that same exact tee because you made it personal and special for yourself. You can also add embellishments to the tee too to make it even more fun. Now get to work friends!

    Row 1: Above, I have featured some of my favorite accessories from their website. I love the necklace and earrings to be paired together and to be worn with the yellow jumpsuit on the bottom row. Can you say fabulous!?

    Row 1: This row is dedicated to beauty products that I’ve had my eye on for a while now. The Beauty Blender is supposed to be amazing and I’ve always wanted to try it. The Dewy Spray from Anastasia Beverly Hills is another one I’ve been dying to get my hands on. But who am I kidding? I want all the beauty products! 😂

    Row 2: Need I say anything about this hat and purse? They’re both so cute and staples needed in anybody’s wardrobe! As for the Calvin Klein undies and bra, I think these are perfect for lounging around in. Who can hate on that?

    Row 3: My eyes always immediately go to that gorgeous teal romper. This is definitely a gorgeous piece to own for your summer wardrobe. I also loved this scarf. I thought it would look so cute wrapped about the head on that hot pool days.

    Row 4: The final row includes that adorable leopard kimono which is perfect for a beach/pool day. These graphic tees are EVERYTHING though! I’m obsessed with the Mickey Mouse one and think it would be so cute for a trip to WDW. Right?

    It’s finally here, my SHEIN haul! I’m so excited to share with you guys these adorable pieces I got in from SHEIN recently. I was pretty pleased with my purchase especially for the price I spent. So let’s get to it:

    The Outfits

    Off Shoulder Polka Dot Top with Split Skirt (Plus)– First outfit is this ADORABLE set. When I ordered this I had no expectation for this outfit. I have to say that this outfit is more than I could ever have given it credit. It’s super flattering and comfortable. My only complaint about this outfit is the ruffle at the top. It’s actually a separate piece from the tub top that is under it. I thought that was a little strange and I think I’m gonna try to stitch it to the tube top somehow. Other than that, I adore this outfit and can’t wait to wear it out and about. I ordered a 1X for this outfit.     Floral Print Cold Shoulder Romper (Plus)– So the next outfit is this trendy little romper. I was most excited to get this outfit in and try it on because it looked so cute on the model. I gotta say this is everything I hoped it would be! In the past, I’ve struggled with finding rompers that were long enough to fit my torso and boobs but this one was a perfect fit. I ordered the 1X for this romper. If you’re interested in this romper in smaller sizes, they have a similar one and I’ll link it here.

    Flutter Sleeve Top (Plus)– This top I have on was such an affordable price and amazing quality. It’s such a flattering style and paired so well with these adorable Cheetah Print Drawstring Shorts (Plus). I order a 1X in the shorts and a 0X for the top. I paid less than $20 on these two pieces and I love this simple but super cute outfit. You guys are going to see me wearing this a lot this summer! Haha Below I have attached a similar Flutter top and Cheetah bottoms that are in the regular sizes if you’re interested.

    Eye & Star Detail Layered Chain Necklace– I’m so obsessed with this necklace! I’ve had my eye on a few of these layered necklaces and this one was super cheap. I couldn’t pass it up! I also purchased the Star Charm Layered Chain Necklace but that broke before I even put it on. I figured how to still wear it broken so I wore it for one day and then it broke completely. So the second one is completely unwearable but this one has held up so far. I’ll keep you all posted if that one ends up breaking on me too though. But so far so good and it looks super cute.

    Leopard Print Top with High Waist Bikini (Plus)– This bathing suit is sold as a set so to be able to pull it off you have to wear the same size in your bottom and top. Unfortunately, I need a bigger size in my top than I do for my bottom so this top was way too small for my boobs. The bottoms fit nicely though and I ended up buying a black bathing suit top from Aerie to pair with it so I’ll feature that for you on the Instagram when it gets a little warmer out. I really wish that the whole set fit though because the print is sassy and I love it. I definitely suggest it if you can work the same size top and bottom!

    Overall, I’m very pleased with my recent purchase with SHEIN and I’ll definitely continue shopping with them in the future. What do you guys think of SHEIN? Are you a fan? Let me know in the comments!

    Go-To Tuesday

    Today we are talking about my Go-To Purse! I gotta say that I’m a gal that likes to switch it up a bit when it comes to purses BUT ever since I’ve got this purse, I keep going back to it. It’s the perfect size to fit all my essentials and so easy to throw over my shoulder and go. This is a Kate Spade Black crossbody purse and I’ve had this one for about 3 years now. The leather has barely any imperfections on it after having it all this time. Unfortunately, they don’t make the same style that I own anymore but below I have attached some that are of similar style and color as mine.

    Today I’m bringing you some of my recent spring finds that I’ve been posting about on my Instagram stories and feed. I’ve been buying pieces here and there from different stores and couldn’t do a specific haul for you all, so I thought why not just combine them all for a recent Spring haul? So here we go friends:

    Blue Light Blocking Glasses – About a few weeks ago I shared these glasses with you all on my Instagram stories and mentioned how these are supposed to protect my eyes from the blue light coming from our phones, tablets, etc. so far I’ve been using these almost every night I’m home while I lay in bed with my different electronic devices. I have to be honest, I don’t feel a huge difference BUT I can say that I feel like I get a better night’s sleep. Whether that’s psychological or the glasses are actually working, I’m totally okay with. Who could complain about getting good sleep? Haha

    Dunkin Donut’s PEEPS Marshmellow Flavored Coffee – So I have to start and say that I don’t have a link for this new flavored coffee because it can only be purchased at Dunkin Donuts. What I can tell you is that this flavor is surprisingly good. I’m not a PEEPS fan at all but this coffee taste very good. If you were on the fence about giving it a try, I’d say go for it. It has more of a vanilla flavor than anything else. So, go for it PEEPS! 😉

    Crystal Sandals– I just received these shoes yesterday so I couldn’t feature them in the photos but you HAVE to click the link and check these out. They come in 3 different colors and the sandals are stunning! 😍 I’m so excited to pair these with a cute spring dress and wear them out and about.

    American Eagle Shorts from TJ-Maxx- Unfortunately, I couldn’t find these shorts online anywhere but let me tell you all about it. These shorts are a STEAL! Super comfy, cute, can be dressed up, and only $6!!! They had multiple different styles and patterns of these $6 shorts and I am living for them. I’m all about looking cute and feeling comfy, so if you are too these shorts are for you.

    Pacifica Face Sunscreen and Travel Size Hawaiian Tropic’s Sun Tan Lotion – If you followed my post from a few weeks ago “What’s in my Bag? -Disney Edition” you will notice that I already mentioned these sunscreens before.     Welcome back to my blog! Today, I wanted to share some of my newer purchases from Target. I explored the sale section and the Wild Fable clothing line section and found some amazing deals. First of all, the Wild Fable collection is a relatively newer clothing line within the Target Style Department. I like to think of it as the Forever 21 of Target’s Women/Juniors/Plus clothing department. Why is that great? I like it because you can buy trendy pieces cheaper and not have to worry about not wearing it in a year cause you only spent $20 on it. I also like it because you can get a lot for a little, who can argue with that? Not me! So below, check out some of the pieces I purchased and I’ll link them (if available online) or I’ll share the price that I purchased it for in the store. Here we go:

    Wild Fable Red Spaghetti Strap Dress: Original price $18.00, Sale price that I received $5.40. Unfortunately it is no longer available online but I did see multiple at different target store locations in my area so definitely take a look in stores if you’re interested.

    Wild Fable Cropped Denim Jacket: Original price $30.00, Sale price that I received $9.00. Unfortunately this one is also no longer available online but one of my best friends just purchased it recently so definitely take a look in stores if you’re interested.

    Wild Fable Off the Shoulder Long Sleeve & Wild Fable High Rise Skinny Jeans : Both of these are still available online and I linked them above. Just click the hyperlink to the product you wish to see. Both great prices and I absolutely LOVE these jeans. Super comfy, stretchy, and I love where they high rise hits my body.

    Wild Fable Smocked Off the Shoulder Purple Floral Top: Original Price $20.00, Sale Price that I purchased it for $5.40. Again, this one is also no longer available online, which is a shame because it’s gorgeous on! BUT again, check out your local targets and search their sale racks in your size. You may get lucky and find this great piece.

    Wild Fable Black Denim Mini Skirt: This is not the same exact skirt that I have on but this is a great price so I figured I’d include it in the haul.

    Wild Fable Square Neck White Long Sleeved Tee & Wild Fable Faux Suede Button Front Skirt : This is my favorite outfit I’ve purchased from them so far. This tee is super comfy, cropped slightly but fits like a glove. The skirt has an elastic band on the back which makes it super easy to put on. No worries about squeezing into a zipped up skirt here. Can I get an Amen? Haha
