Go-To Tuesday

Welcome Fall and all y’all to another Go-To Tuesday! I apologize for the late post but I started a new job today and was at a training majority of the day. But atlas, I’m here for a late day go-to, which is the bralette! I’m so excited for this because this bralette is my absolute favorite. Why? A few reasons but for starters because it’s the first one I’ve ever found that ACTUALLY fits me! My bra size is a 38G so I struggle to find a cute, youthful, and fitting bralette. When I came across this one at Aerie and their XXL size, I finally felt included. I ordered immediately and have been hooked on this bralette ever since. It has a classic strap but can also be worn as a Razorback, which I love. Last but not least, this bralette comes in multiple colors including black, white, olive fun, eyelet blue, deep plum, and golden tumeric. I will these amazing bralettes below so you can get a better look at them.

Hello friends,

Below I have featured the newest pieces to my makeup collection and i’m spilling the tea about them. Are they worth the price? Does it really work? Well follow along below to see!

  • Morphe x Jeffree Star Set & Refresh Star-berry Setting Mist– This Setting mist retails for $18 and works very well. I notice that my makeup stay fairly well and I haven’t seen much difference between this and Urban Decay’s Setting spray. The only difference is the spray that comes out. The Morphe spray comes out as a consistent spray where Urban Decay’s you have to pump the sprays out. The best part about this spray is the scent! Star-berry is a strawberry scent that smells so sweet and good. If you’re a strawberry scented fan that loves to keep her makeup in tact, then this is the Setting mist for you!
  • Tula Skincare Face Filter Blurring & Moisturizing Primer– Recently I’ve seen so many bloggers raving about Tula and this blurring primer so I had to give it a try. I have to say, the hype they made about it is all true. It’s a lightweight product that truly speaks for itself. Now, it is a little pricy but a lot of bloggers on Instagram have coupon codes and you can get a percentage off of your purchase. So if you’ve been on the fence about trying out this product, like I was, definitely try it. It works wonders!

Ulta Beauty Super Blender and Travel Case– I’ve been in search for an affordable but great quality makeup sponge. In addition, I’ve also had my eyes on a travel case for one as well. So when I came across the set for $7, I couldn’t pass it up. So far, it has done its purpose but the real favorite is the travel case. Before, I would just throw it in my makeup bag and hope for the best, but now I feel so much better that it’s in it’s own case.

Morphe M173 Mini Buffer Brush– I recently bought this brush after noticing that my concealer wasn’t completely blended under my eyes from the makeup sponge. I love how precise this brush is and I never knew I needed it until I got it.

Tarte High Tides & Good Vibes Eyeshadow Palette– My boyfriend bought me this palette for my birthday and I’ve been obsessed ever since. The matte colors are so pigmented and gorgeous blended with the shimmers. The best part to this palette is the 4 glitter shadows they included. They are so gorgeous and perfect for those nights where you want to look and feel glamorous.

It Cosmetics x Drybar Lash Blowout Mascara– Recently, I got a Lash lift and tint done at a salon and the results were amazing. I was so pleased with how my lashes looked and wished I could have them look like that all the time. So when I purchased this mascara, I was crossing my fingers for similar results. This mascara is a little thinker in consistency and comes out a little clumpy. At first, I wasn’t a fan of that look but once I made sure my lashes were curled nice then the mascara impressed me a lot. Once I made sure that I curled my lashes beforehand, the mascara made my lashes look full and long.

MoxieLash Liquid Magnetic Eyeliner and Eyelashes– Okay Friends, if there is one piece of makeup you try out, this has GOT to be it! If you have struggled with putting on false lashes with glue then no more worries. These lashes can be applied by putting on this magnetic eyeliner, waiting 2 minutes, and then just sticking the magnets on the lashes to the eyeliner. That’s it! It’s so easy and definitely worth it to anybody that loves wearing false eyelashes.

Winky Lux Pixie Kit Lip Set– I received this kit of Lip balms and lip gloss from one of my best friends and I’m living for all of it. This brand has the cutest packaging and the best tinted lip balms EVER! I love the glitter one the most. These are a perfect gift and also perfect to treat yourself too.

Fresh Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash– I was in need of a good Face exfoliate and when I saw that Fresh came out with a strawberry based one, I had to try it out. This face wash has made my skin feel so refreshed and clean once I started using it. It gives you that tingly sensation and reassures you that your face is getting the best treatment!

Too Faced Glow Job Glitter Face Mask– Last, but not least, is this Glitter face mask. Now, I’m obsessed with the Glamglow glitter face masks and if you are or always wanted to try it, go for this Too Faced one. They are honestly the same mask and this one is a lot cheaper. I love how easy and painless it is to add and remove this face mask. Also, it’s glittery and super cute to sport around for a spa day with the girls.

Alrighty friends, that’s all for this blog. Let me know if you’ve tried any of these and what your thoughts are on the products!

    Go-To Tuesday

Hello there! If you’ve been “watching” my blog, Instagram, or Facebook page at all, you would know that every Tuesday I dedicate to my go-tos. Well today is no exception! I’m dedicating today to my Go-To Watch which is Apple Watch. I currently have the Series 1 but am able to do so much with it. I’ve never been much of a watch person but to be able to access my phone from my wrist in any situation is really nice. I love the fact that I can access my messages by looking down at my wrist and without carrying my phone around everywhere. I also love the feature that includes keeping track of your steps and encouraging you to keep being active. In addition, this watch includes so many other features that I still haven’t even experienced yet. It’s truly an awesome piece of technology to have for any adult that has a busy schedule. Check out the link below for more information on the Apple Watch and/or to purchase it.

    Go-To Tuesday

Hello friends, it’s another Go-To Tuesday and I want to share with you all my best way to keep organized, a planner! This planner is the 2020 Amy Knapp’s The Very Busy Planner. It starts from August 2019 and takes you to December 2020. I love planners that take you all the way until the end of the following year because it allows you to be able to plan ahead accordingly. I’m the type of person that needs to write things down to remember everything and this is the perfect way to do that. The Very Busy Planner includes 4 sheets of stickers, weekly breakdowns, monthly calendar, fun little reminders, and more! I love the graphics included in the planner and it makes for writing in your planner to be fun. This is perfect for any age because of its youthful appearance and detailed area for weekly breakdowns. If you’re in need of a planner, look no further! This under $15 planner is perfect for anyone who needs to keep organization in your life! Amy Knapp Very Busy Planner 2019-2020

    Well hello,

Do you ever notice yourself always grabbing the same color lipsticks over and over again? Cause, same! Then, I’ll make a conscious effort to try one of my other millions I own and then usually regret it. So I figured I’d share with you my top 5 lipsticks that I’m always using. Let’s get started:

    The Lipsticks:

(Links to products are connected to the photos and hyperlinks.)

    1. Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint in “Uncuffed” : This gorgeous mauve-y pink is perfect for day to night transition. It’s such a stunning lip color on because it’s not your typical bubble gum girly pink. It’s quite a sophisticated pink and would look great on women of many ages.
    2. Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink in “Ruler” : If you follow along with my Go-To Tuesday’s, you would know that this is my go-to red lipstick! I’m so obsessed with it and don’t know what I’ll do when this color is discontinued. Up until this point, there were only a few red lipsticks that looked good on me but they always smeared so quickly. In that case, you have to worry about applying powder to your lipstick and constantly be check on it and making sure it isn’t all over your face. BUT, I don’t have to worry one bit about this matte lip ink. This lipstick stays on ALL DAY and barely needs reapplication. The formula that Maybelline has come up with is truly incredible and I highly suggest it to anyone!
    3. Ciaté London Glitter Flip Lip in “Infamous” : Glitter Flip has been around for a couple of years now (which is why mine doesn’t have the logo on it anymore). I’m a big fan of anything that is shiny and glittery which is why I wanted to originally try this out a few years ago. This color it’s also a mauve but after two minutes, you press your lips together and glitter appears. This glitter in the lipstick is not a look that everybody loves for themselves, but if you do, this is the one for you! In addition, it’s currently on sale on Sephora for $9.50 in most of the colors.
    4. NYX Slip Tease in “I Woke Up Like This” : If you’re in need of an amazing nude, satin lipsticks then look no further. This is my lipstick that looks great with anything I’m wearing. It looks very natural while still giving a slightly dramatic vibe. I hate the look of a nude lipstick that makes me look dehydrated so that’s why I love this lip. Its dark enough that you can see it in pictures and far away but subtle enough as well. Overall, it’s a solid nude lip choice.
    5. Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick in “Trendsetter” – Sometimes, when applying lipsticks, that pink and red simply won’t do. That’s where my Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lip in “Trendsetter” comes in handy. This lipstick is a brown nude with a little orange undertone. You can tell by the swatches that it’s similar to the NYX lipstick but still darker. This is definitely a lipstick I use when I’m in search for a more dramatic look. This liquid lip stays on for a good while too. Definitely a great choice!

    Swatches:

And that’s it! Share with me below what’s your absolute favorite lipstick, I’m not opposed to adding more to my list. 😉

    Hey friends!

Recently, I’ve been slacking on my blogging game and I even missed my go-to Tuesday yesterday! So to make up for it, I’ve decided to share with you all a new fun blog post dedicated to fabulous places I visit. I figure this is a great way to share with all you cute and instagram-able places to visit while you’re in town or in different cities that I visit. Today, I’ve decided to featured the absolute CUTEST and trendiest coffee shop/boutique in the greater Pittsburgh area, The Loveliest. The Loveliest is a coffee shop and boutique snuggled into the cutest suburbs of the Pittsburgh area. Seriously, you’ll want to move to this town. From it’s gorgeous housing to its movie worthy main streets, you’ll never want to leave this quaint little town.

Now let’s get to the good stuff, the coffee! Now The Loveliest doesn’t just offer basic coffee but they also offer an assortment of decor to spruce it up. From edible glitter to screen printing your coffee, their coffees are anything but dull. Check out my Hot vanilla latte I order with a Iridescently Katey touch!

With an up-charge, you can upgrade your drink from plain to Insta-worthy. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to add a little something sassy to my drink and that’s not all that can be added. From edible glitter to flecks of gold, you can accessorize your coffee however you like BUT for a price. It does get a little pricy to add all these things to your drink though. I paid almost $8 for my latte and my best friend spend around $10 for hers. Overall, you’re paying for the experience of the shop and I think it’s worth it for a visit!

The venue not only includes delicious coffee but it also has the trendiest and cutest insta worthy places to chill. From its chair swing, to the bubble chairs, window seat, outside patio chairs, there is no shortage for that perfect shot! Be able to sit in chill in this gorgeous pink palace was beyond my wildest dreams. If you’re a fan of pink, coffee, insta worthy areas, and/or shopping, this is a must stop by shop for you!
