GO-TO TUESDAY

It’s that time of year again, back to school! Whether you’re are a Mom, student, or just a gal (like me) that loves back to school shopping then this is a post you’re gonna want to read about. I’m sharing my Go-to Pens with you, the Crayola Washable Gel Pens. What I love most about these are the multiple colors offered within the pack. I’m the type of person that likes to color code my planner and different projects I work on. So this pack of pens was perfect for me. I also love that the pens glide so easily onto the paper. They are easy to use and super smooth to write with. In addition to that, these pens come with 14 different colors in a pack included black and dark blue. I love the variety included within the pack and the price is great for the amount they offer. They are offered on prime and you can order them and get them just in time for school starting. Click the photo above for the link to these colorful and fun pens!

Well hello,

Do you ever notice yourself always grabbing the same color lipsticks over and over again? Cause, same! Then, I’ll make a conscious effort to try one of my other millions I own and then usually regret it. So I figured I’d share with you my top 5 lipsticks that I’m always using. Let’s get started:

The Lipsticks:

(Links to products are connected to the photos and hyperlinks.)

  1. Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint in “Uncuffed” : This gorgeous mauve-y pink is perfect for day to night transition. It’s such a stunning lip color on because it’s not your typical bubble gum girly pink. It’s quite a sophisticated pink and would look great on women of many ages.
  2. Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink in “Ruler” : If you follow along with my Go-To Tuesday’s, you would know that this is my go-to red lipstick! I’m so obsessed with it and don’t know what I’ll do when this color is discontinued. Up until this point, there were only a few red lipsticks that looked good on me but they always smeared so quickly. In that case, you have to worry about applying powder to your lipstick and constantly be check on it and making sure it isn’t all over your face. BUT, I don’t have to worry one bit about this matte lip ink. This lipstick stays on ALL DAY and barely needs reapplication. The formula that Maybelline has come up with is truly incredible and I highly suggest it to anyone!
  3. CiatΓ© London Glitter Flip Lip in “Infamous” : Glitter Flip has been around for a couple of years now (which is why mine doesn’t have the logo on it anymore). I’m a big fan of anything that is shiny and glittery which is why I wanted to originally try this out a few years ago. This color it’s also a mauve but after two minutes, you press your lips together and glitter appears. This glitter in the lipstick is not a look that everybody loves for themselves, but if you do, this is the one for you! In addition, it’s currently on sale on Sephora for $9.50 in most of the colors.
  4. NYX Slip Tease in “I Woke Up Like This” : If you’re in need of an amazing nude, satin lipsticks then look no further. This is my lipstick that looks great with anything I’m wearing. It looks very natural while still giving a slightly dramatic vibe. I hate the look of a nude lipstick that makes me look dehydrated so that’s why I love this lip. Its dark enough that you can see it in pictures and far away but subtle enough as well. Overall, it’s a solid nude lip choice.
  5. Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick in “Trendsetter” – Sometimes, when applying lipsticks, that pink and red simply won’t do. That’s where my Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lip in “Trendsetter” comes in handy. This lipstick is a brown nude with a little orange undertone. You can tell by the swatches that it’s similar to the NYX lipstick but still darker. This is definitely a lipstick I use when I’m in search for a more dramatic look. This liquid lip stays on for a good while too. Definitely a great choice!

Swatches:

And that’s it! Share with me below what’s your absolute favorite lipstick, I’m not opposed to adding more to my list. πŸ˜‰

Go-To Tuesday

I’m very excited to share with you all my go-to face wash today. Tarte’s Rainforest of the Sea Cleansing Gel has been my favorite face wash for the last 6 months. Since I’ve been using it, none of the others I’ve tried have compared. I’ve tried others while using this (usually samples I’ve received) and I always find myself reaching for Tarte’s again. The Cleansing Gel comes in a bottle that you pump the product out of. This makes using it very easy and saves you from using too much of the product at once. Usually one pump will be perfect for a full face wash. I have had this current bottle since April and I have only used about half of it. This product retails for $25 but is so forth the price. A lot of times, if you purchase it on Tarte’s website, you can find a discount code online. If you click this link below, it will take you to a link that will give you a 15% off coupon once you enter your email address.

Go-To Tuesday

It’s finally the time for me to share my go-to soda pop! (Some people call it soda, I call it pop, so I compromised for you all and just called it Soda Pop πŸ˜‹) I feel like most people have tried Diet Coke and/or Diet Pepsi and I drink both. Why do I chose Diet Coke over Pepsi though? Well I’ll tell you. To me, Diet Pepsi has a sweet taste to it and has a flavoring that is similar to the regular pop. If that’s your desired taste, then that may be the drink for you. As for me, I prefer the Diet pop taste to my drink. When it comes to Diet Coke though, the best tasting is always a fountain Diet Coke drink, especially from McDonald’s. I can’t tell you what makes it so good but it’s better than regular bottled Diet Coke. So if you’re looking for a refreshing Diet pop, try out Diet Coke fountain drink to quench your summertime needs.

Hey Friends,

I’ve recently been checking out all these different beauty products that spark my interest but I haven’t committed into buying any of them. (And feel free to send me any of these if you’re feeling generous! 😜 hahah). Anyway, the wish list awaits…

  1. Jovia’s Place I Am Magic Foundation: This Foundation had been tested by makeup gurus such as Nikki tutorials and Jeffree Star and they were both obsessed. 2. Beauty Bakerie Matte Lip Whip (Salted Caramel Mocha): I’ve been dying to try this lip product for a few weeks now. I’ve had my reservations from it because of not ever using products from this company. But this color looks stunning and I always how the lip product looks in photos. Price: $20
  3. Yes to Cucumbers Cooling Hydrating Primer Stick: One of my favorite Instagram beauty gurus, @annalovesu, featured this primer on her videos recently. She said that this is her newest favorite primer and I’m so intrigued by it. Best part about this is the price point! Price: $9.99
  4. Huda Beauty Resting Boss Face Waterproof Setting Spray: Setting spray? Really? Haha yes really! This Setting spray was specifically designed to be almost like hairspray (which is what drag queens use to keep their makeup in tack.) PLUS, it’s waterproof and this girl needs all the helps she can get when it comes to the hot summer months!
  5. Tarte Rainforest of the Sea High Tides and Good Vibes Eyeshadow Palette: I’ve been eyeing this palette up since it’s release date. Hey y’all!

I’m jumping on here to share with you all my necessities for my beach trip this past week. So I figured it was time for another “What’s in my Bag?” and give it a beachy vibe. Without further ado, let’s get into it!

Contents:

Bag: ***This bag is a Vera Bradley Factory Outlet Beach Bag and is supposed to be only sold in stores. I did find the bag on Amazon and linked it below. It’s included with a Ditty Bag though and is a lot more expensive then priced at the outlet store. I’ll link a few other cute beach bags below that look similar but are cheaper.***

Beach Towel: I’ll feature a photo of it spread a little more below for you to see what it looks like. I loved this because it’s pretty gender neutral for me or my boyfriend to use. I loved it for an instagram worthy caption saying my boyfriend was my “main squeeze.” Just a super cute and fun way to spice up your insta feed or even your pool look.

Waterproof iPhone Case: This case is great for not only beach days but pool days too! You can take underwater photos and not have to worry about breaking your phone from getting it wet.

Sunscreen: I have two featured below for your body. I like the spray kind because they are so much easier to apply BUT you have to make sure you still rub it in. My boyfriend and I learned the hard way on that. πŸ˜‚

Scrunchie: This scrunchie was a super easy and cute way to spice up my bathing suit look. There is only so much you can add to a bathing suit that isn’t going to give you weird tan lines. That’s why I loved adding this cute and simple accessory to my beach look.

Sandals: These Sandals are the best I’ve bought in a while. They were only twenty dollars and can dress an outfit up AND down! I highly suggest these to anybody that need a new cute pair of caramel colored sandals.

Beach Blanket: The circular beach blanket is all the rage right now and I’m totally here for it. I adore this colorful and fun blanket from target I got before I left on my trip. I foresee a lot of uses out of this blanket this summer.

Sunglasses: These Mirrored Sunglasses are my new favorite style! Check out these adorable and super affordable classes from Sojos on Amazon. And yes fam, they offer prime! πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

“Daydreaming” Beach Hat: I received this hat as a gift and I absolutely love it! It’s so fun and I adore the sweet captions on beach hats. I’ll link the one I have featured in the photo above but it’s unfortunately out of stock right now. It has a “notify when available” button that you can fill out if super interested. I’ll also feature a few of my favorites featured on amazon for a great price too.

Spray bottle: This is great for those super hot beach days when you’re laying out and trying to get your tan on. Just fill it up with some bottled water (preferably cold) and dose yourself when you’re starting to over heat. Simple as that!

Sparkling Water: If you haven’t gotten into the whole sparkling water kick then this is where you need to start! Bubly features a delicious strawberry flavored sparkling water and it reminds me of a strawberry lollipop. So yummy and especially refreshing during a hot summer day on the beach.

Reading Material: Okay, so you may not see a book featured in the photo above but I loved reading on the beach. I use my iPad but anyway to kick back and read on the beach works for me. I’ll link my most recent book I started reading below.

Snacks: Gotta pack snacks for those long and relaxing beach days. My favorite snack I packed this past beach trip was the Safe and Fair Birthday Cake Granola. It’s such an easy to snack on treat and sooooo yummy! The best part about it? It’s Top 8 Allergen Free, Gluten Free, Certified Vegan, Non GMO, and more! Plus you can grab some great coupon codes online and get this product for a great price and with free shipping!

Water Bottle: Keep Hydrated, especially on the beach! I loved this fun summer themed water bottle to carry to the beach with me. The lid has a button to pop the straw up to drink easily. It’s also a great size that will probably last the whole beach day.

Alcoholic Beverages: If you’re 21+ and like to relax on the beach with a nice cold brew or spirit then we have something in common. My favorites for this past trip were IC Light Mango beer and Malibu with Diet Coke.

Cooler Bag: Well, we gotta keep those drinks we packed cooler somehow! I found this super cute Navy Flamingo Cooler Bag at Dollar General for only five dollars! Unfortunately, I couldn’t find it anywhere online to link it for you all. If you have a store in the area, I suggest taking a look because they have some cute summer themed insulated lunch bags. Below I’ll attach a link to a cute flamingo insulated lunch box from amazon that you may also like.

Portable Speaker: Music is a must on the beach! Below I have featured my speaker that I’ve had for years now and love. There are many great portable speakers out there though so use and buy whatever you want and prefer. I’ll link this one in case your interested in the one featured above. *I couldn’t find a reliable website that sold the pink speaker so I linked the white.*

Pool Floaty: Gotta have a cute Instagramable pool floaty to wrap up your beach must haves! Check out this adorable Lips pool floaty that I got from amazon.

I hope you all have found this edition of “What’s in my Bag?” helpful for your upcoming beach trip! Comment below and let me know what you HAVE to take with you to the beach.

Welcome back everyone,

It’s finally here, my SHEIN haul! I’m so excited to share with you guys these adorable pieces I got in from SHEIN recently. I was pretty pleased with my purchase especially for the price I spent. So let’s get to it:

Video Haul

The Outfits

Off Shoulder Polka Dot Top with Split Skirt (Plus)– First outfit is this ADORABLE set. When I ordered this I had no expectation for this outfit. I have to say that this outfit is more than I could ever have given it credit. It’s super flattering and comfortable. My only complaint about this outfit is the ruffle at the top. It’s actually a separate piece from the tub top that is under it. I thought that was a little strange and I think I’m gonna try to stitch it to the tube top somehow. Other than that, I adore this outfit and can’t wait to wear it out and about. I ordered a 1X for this outfit. If you’re interested in this set and would like it in the normal sizes, click here to access it.

Floral Print Cold Shoulder Romper (Plus)– So the next outfit is this trendy little romper. I was most excited to get this outfit in and try it on because it looked so cute on the model. I gotta say this is everything I hoped it would be! In the past, I’ve struggled with finding rompers that were long enough to fit my torso and boobs but this one was a perfect fit. I ordered the 1X for this romper. If you’re interested in this romper in smaller sizes, they have a similar one and I’ll link it here.

Flutter Sleeve Top (Plus)– This top I have on was such an affordable price and amazing quality. It’s such a flattering style and paired so well with these adorable Cheetah Print Drawstring Shorts (Plus). I order a 1X in the shorts and a 0X for the top. I paid less than $20 on these two pieces and I love this simple but super cute outfit. You guys are going to see me wearing this a lot this summer! Haha Below I have attached a similar Flutter top and Cheetah bottoms that are in the regular sizes if you’re interested.

Eye & Star Detail Layered Chain Necklace– I’m so obsessed with this necklace! I’ve had my eye on a few of these layered necklaces and this one was super cheap. I couldn’t pass it up! I also purchased the Star Charm Layered Chain Necklace but that broke before I even put it on. I figured how to still wear it broken so I wore it for one day and then it broke completely. So the second one is completely unwearable but this one has held up so far. I’ll keep you all posted if that one ends up breaking on me too though. But so far so good and it looks super cute.

Leopard Print Top with High Waist Bikini (Plus)– This bathing suit is sold as a set so to be able to pull it off you have to wear the same size in your bottom and top. Unfortunately, I need a bigger size in my top than I do for my bottom so this top was way too small for my boobs. The bottoms fit nicely though and I ended up buying a black bathing suit top from Aerie to pair with it so I’ll feature that for you on the Instagram when it gets a little warmer out. I really wish that the whole set fit though because the print is sassy and I love it. I definitely suggest it if you can work the same size top and bottom!

Overall, I’m very pleased with my recent purchase with SHEIN and I’ll definitely continue shopping with them in the future. What do you guys think of SHEIN? Are you a fan? Let me know in the comments!

Hello friends,

Can you believe Easter is this coming weekend? This year has been flying by and I totally forgot to buy myself something to wear for Easter. I figured that I’m probably not the only person so I decided to throw together a blog post for all of you that are forgetful like me (haha). Below I have included two stores that I love ordering from because their products ship very quickly. There are 25 Easter/Spring Worthy Outfits that are under $50 that I have linked below. These outfits I have linked include sizes XS-4X. I get frustrated with other bloggers when they only include sizes S-L in their links so I’ve decided to create the range a little bigger. My body typically fits in the XL-1X range and it’s a struggle to find bloggers that include those sizes. Hopefully I can help others that struggle with my similar frustrations. Anyway, I also included a link that will give you a percentage off for Fashion Nova (check below). I hope that you can find something perfect for your holiday festivities. Here we go:
