Hello friends and Happy November,

I’ve been testing out a lot of skincare products recently because my skin has been out of control. I’ve been trying prestige and drugstore skincare products and I want to do a special spotlight on these fruity skincare finds. First up:

Fresh’s Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash

This face scrub is something I had my eye on all summer. When I finally bought it, I couldn’t wait to try it. The consistency is a gel form with sugar and strawberry looking seeds within it. The scrub is fairly light but feels extremely cleansing. You get a little bit of a tingle to your skin in mis use that feels like the product is doing its job. I feel that Fresh’s scrub has given my skin great improvement and I highly suggest, ESPECIALLY if you love strawberries and the scent like me.

MK I’m

Clean & Clear Lemon Juice Toner

The other fruity themed skincare item is this lemon scented toner. My skincare routine has been lacking a toner for a while and I must say, I’m certainly glad to be back using one again. I LOVE the smell of lemons and using this product is so refreshing and it works wonders. It’s ridiculous how much extra dirt it gets off your face after you remove makeup AND wash it. This product is a must have if you’re in need of a great toner for a low price.

Purchase either of those products here!

I’m so about a fruit scented skincare item, what about you? Let me know what kind of skincare you’d like to scented like your favorite fruit!

Hey y’all!

I’m jumping on here to share with you all my necessities for my beach trip this past week. So I figured it was time for another “What’s in my Bag?” and give it a beachy vibe. Without further ado, let’s get into it!

Contents:

Bag: ***This bag is a Vera Bradley Factory Outlet Beach Bag and is supposed to be only sold in stores. I did find the bag on Amazon and linked it below. It’s included with a Ditty Bag though and is a lot more expensive then priced at the outlet store. I’ll link a few other cute beach bags below that look similar but are cheaper.***

Beach Towel: I’ll feature a photo of it spread a little more below for you to see what it looks like. I loved this because it’s pretty gender neutral for me or my boyfriend to use. I loved it for an instagram worthy caption saying my boyfriend was my “main squeeze.” Just a super cute and fun way to spice up your insta feed or even your pool look.

Waterproof iPhone Case: This case is great for not only beach days but pool days too! You can take underwater photos and not have to worry about breaking your phone from getting it wet.

Sunscreen: I have two featured below for your body. I like the spray kind because they are so much easier to apply BUT you have to make sure you still rub it in. My boyfriend and I learned the hard way on that. 😂

Scrunchie: This scrunchie was a super easy and cute way to spice up my bathing suit look. There is only so much you can add to a bathing suit that isn’t going to give you weird tan lines. That’s why I loved adding this cute and simple accessory to my beach look.

Sandals: These Sandals are the best I’ve bought in a while. They were only twenty dollars and can dress an outfit up AND down! I highly suggest these to anybody that need a new cute pair of caramel colored sandals.

Beach Blanket: The circular beach blanket is all the rage right now and I’m totally here for it. I adore this colorful and fun blanket from target I got before I left on my trip. I foresee a lot of uses out of this blanket this summer.

Sunglasses: These Mirrored Sunglasses are my new favorite style! Check out these adorable and super affordable classes from Sojos on Amazon. And yes fam, they offer prime! 🙌🏼

“Daydreaming” Beach Hat: I received this hat as a gift and I absolutely love it! It’s so fun and I adore the sweet captions on beach hats. I’ll link the one I have featured in the photo above but it’s unfortunately out of stock right now. It has a “notify when available” button that you can fill out if super interested. I’ll also feature a few of my favorites featured on amazon for a great price too.

Spray bottle: This is great for those super hot beach days when you’re laying out and trying to get your tan on. Just fill it up with some bottled water (preferably cold) and dose yourself when you’re starting to over heat. Simple as that!

Sparkling Water: If you haven’t gotten into the whole sparkling water kick then this is where you need to start! Bubly features a delicious strawberry flavored sparkling water and it reminds me of a strawberry lollipop. So yummy and especially refreshing during a hot summer day on the beach.

Reading Material: Okay, so you may not see a book featured in the photo above but I loved reading on the beach. I use my iPad but anyway to kick back and read on the beach works for me. I’ll link my most recent book I started reading below.

Snacks: Gotta pack snacks for those long and relaxing beach days. My favorite snack I packed this past beach trip was the Safe and Fair Birthday Cake Granola. It’s such an easy to snack on treat and sooooo yummy! The best part about it? It’s Top 8 Allergen Free, Gluten Free, Certified Vegan, Non GMO, and more! Plus you can grab some great coupon codes online and get this product for a great price and with free shipping!

Water Bottle: Keep Hydrated, especially on the beach! I loved this fun summer themed water bottle to carry to the beach with me. The lid has a button to pop the straw up to drink easily. It’s also a great size that will probably last the whole beach day.

Alcoholic Beverages: If you’re 21+ and like to relax on the beach with a nice cold brew or spirit then we have something in common. My favorites for this past trip were IC Light Mango beer and Malibu with Diet Coke.

Cooler Bag: Well, we gotta keep those drinks we packed cooler somehow! I found this super cute Navy Flamingo Cooler Bag at Dollar General for only five dollars! Unfortunately, I couldn’t find it anywhere online to link it for you all. If you have a store in the area, I suggest taking a look because they have some cute summer themed insulated lunch bags. Below I’ll attach a link to a cute flamingo insulated lunch box from amazon that you may also like.

Portable Speaker: Music is a must on the beach! Below I have featured my speaker that I’ve had for years now and love. There are many great portable speakers out there though so use and buy whatever you want and prefer. I’ll link this one in case your interested in the one featured above. *I couldn’t find a reliable website that sold the pink speaker so I linked the white.*

Pool Floaty: Gotta have a cute Instagramable pool floaty to wrap up your beach must haves! Check out this adorable Lips pool floaty that I got from amazon.

I hope you all have found this edition of “What’s in my Bag?” helpful for your upcoming beach trip! Comment below and let me know what you HAVE to take with you to the beach.

Go-To Tuesday

Who else is a Popsocket junkie!? I have to say that when they first came out, I thought they were stupid. Not as stupid as the selfie stick but pretty stupid. But once I received one for Christmas, I figured I’d give it a try. Well let me tell you, I’ve been hooked ever since! Having a Popsocket has made my texting, selfies, car mounting, and more a million times easier. Which is why I had to get on here and share with you all my Go-To Popsocket! My absolute favorite Popsocket I have owned is from the original Popsocket brand and it’s called “Sparkle Snow White”. It has an iridescent Glitter on it and makes for a perfect accessory to my holographic phone case from Milkyway. My only complaint about it is that they Glitter does fall off eventually. Regardless, this brand has a ton of super cute options and you can find a good amount of them on Amazon with prime. I linked the photo above to the specific Sparkle Snow White Popsocket on the official site. If you drop your phone a lot or your hand gets tired frequently from holding you phone, especially if it’s a Plus, check out getting a Popsocket. You won’t regret it!

Go-To Tuesday

Wow friends, I can’t believe I almost forgot to post a Go-To Tuesday! This whole holiday weekend has had me thrown off and I thought that today was Monday until a half hour ago (haha). But that’s okay because I’m here and ready to show you my go-to tight hold hairspray! Bed Head Masterpiece Shine Hairspray has been my recent find and favorite. I was given a travel sized version for Christmas this past year and immoderately became obsessed with the way it made my hair smell and feel. The scent is so delicious that I kept sniffing around thinking that whatever that scent was I wanted to eat it. I ended up figuring out it was my hair and I sniffed it for the rest of the night. My boyfriend also commented on how well it smelled and I knew that this was gonna be my new go-to. Not only is the scent amazing but the hold it gives my hair is amazing. I rarely need touch ups after I finish using this product. My only complaint is that it is a little pricy for hairspray at some stores BUT I’ve bought this at Marshall’s for $10 and have seen it at other stores similarly priced. Definitely explore all your options for prices before purchasing the one I have linked to the photo above (from Ulta: $23). Let me know if you’ve tried this hairspray and what you think in the comments below!

Welcome back friends or if you’re new, welcome! Today, I’ve decided to share with you all my skincare routine. Since there are multiple times you take care of your skin during the day, I decided to break it down in different blogs. This edition will be focused directly to my night time routine. I do not have perfect skin by any means (especially during my time of the month) so you will definitely see some blemishes in my video. But no one is perfect and I’m working on a better version of myself every day. So join me on achieving better skin for ourselves! I’ve been lucky enough to find products that I’ve been loving recently and it’s been making me want to commit to my skincare routine more frequently. I’m so excited to share with you some of these products because they make my skin feel so amazing afterwards. So, let’s get to it!

Video:

Product Breakdown:

(Photos are the links to the products)

  • Step 1- Grab a headband, whether it’s a terry cloth spa headband or just a casual plastic one. This is totally optional but I do it because I hate having wet hair around my face.

  • Step 2- *if wearing makeup* Grab your makeup wipe and wipe off all excess. Don’t scrub at the places that don’t wipe off easily, we’ll handle those places in our next step.

  • Step 3- Grab your Micellar Cleansing Water and pour some into your cotton pad. Then wipe excess makeup residue and those harder to get makeup areas (mascara/eyes, long lasting lipstick, etc) off. If you’re not wearing makeup, this cleansing water clears the face of all impurities before washing it. I’m going to link the one I used in the video to the photo above and the other option here. I’m also going to link another one that can be found at Walmart, Walgreens, Target, etc. They both do the same thing and I like either one.

  • Step 4- I grabbed my rubber face scrubber (I’ll link here) and applied the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Deep Dive Face Cleanser. Once I’ve finished, I rinse my face off and pat dry.
  • Step 5- Then I grab my Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Drink of H2O Hydrating boost. I dab a penny size of product onto my finger and distribute it over my entire face. Make sure that you use your fingertips to gently blend the product into your skin.

  • Step 6- I finish off my night time routine with this new product I’ve started using recently. It’s the Kate Somerville EradiKate Acne Treatment which helps with pop up blemishes. I’m curious to see how well it works and will definitely let you all know my results with it in the future.

And it’s that simple. This whole routine takes about 10 minutes max! Stay tuned for my morning skincare routine and my favorite masks and more coming up soon in future blog posts. Let me know what you’d like to see if the comments below. Until next time,

Go-To Tuesday

It’s time for me to come on here and share with you one of my best kept secrets.. well I don’t know if I can consider it a secret BUT, I absolutely LOVE this product. It is the Impress Press On Manicure. So what is different about these particular ones? Well I’ll tell ya. First off, the nails come in two different lengths, short and long. The short ones are the perfect length in my opinion. I don’t care for nail length that is too extremely long so these short nails are perfect for me. The second thing I love about them is the fact that they have stickers on the back. No glue is needed to apply these nails. All you have to do is peel the sticker and apply them to the desired nails. Lastly, It comes with 30 nails, in all shapes and sizes which means you can wear you package more than one time. These are so affordable that you have to try them out at least once! Let me know what you think about them.

Welcome back Everybody,

Mother’s Day is creeping up on us and it’s time to start searching for that gift to give to our favorite ladies that raised us. Whether it’s your mom, gram, aunt, or anyone that is a mother in your eyes, check out my gift guide of goodies for those special ladies in your life. Let’s get started!

5. Tarte Makeup Brushes (My mother is always worried about everyone else but never takes the time to worry about herself. Basic things like makeup brushes are the least of her worries and I always like to treat her with some nice makeup brushes for holidays. This Tarte Set comes with the essentials and for a decent price. Use this link for a 15% off your purchase too. https://share.tartecosmetics.com/x/TPGHrl . There is also free shipping and a free gift (Makeup brush) if you purchase $25 or more. This offer is a today only offer (4/25). )

Go-To Tuesday

Do you ever just have those days where the thought of washing and drying your hair is just not on your agenda? Those days when you wake up late and washing your hair will take too long. I think we’ve all been there and I’m here to share with you my favorite way to solve those problems. I use the Dove Volume & Fullness Dry Shampoo. I’ve been using it for about 6 years now. I have tried multiple types of dry shampoo, I always came back to Dove’s though. It’s handy tool to have on those days like I mentioned before. So if you’re in the market for a new dry shampoo or have never tried it, give Dove’s a shot. You’re not gonna regret it! 😁

P.S. I linked the exact dry shampoo to the photo I included above.

Hello friends,

Can you believe Easter is this coming weekend? This year has been flying by and I totally forgot to buy myself something to wear for Easter. I figured that I’m probably not the only person so I decided to throw together a blog post for all of you that are forgetful like me (haha). Below I have included two stores that I love ordering from because their products ship very quickly. There are 25 Easter/Spring Worthy Outfits that are under $50 that I have linked below. These outfits I have linked include sizes XS-4X. I get frustrated with other bloggers when they only include sizes S-L in their links so I’ve decided to create the range a little bigger. My body typically fits in the XL-1X range and it’s a struggle to find bloggers that include those sizes. Hopefully I can help others that struggle with my similar frustrations. Anyway, I also included a link that will give you a percentage off for Fashion Nova (check below). I hope that you can find something perfect for your holiday festivities. Here we go:

Welcome back friends,

I’m so excited to share with you all that in just one week I’ll be at the Happiest Place on Earth, Walt Disney World! It’s truly one of my favorite places to be and I can’t wait to be back. I thought while I was packing it would be fun to share with your guys my must haves that I pack for park days. Below I have listed and linked the items I never leave behind when I go to any amusement park. Here they are:

  1. iPhone Fan
  2. Portable Phone Charger (This is not the same one that I own, but I thought this was incredibly cute and on sale for a great price.)
  3. Face Sunblock (Amazing sunblock, especially underneath your makeup. Highly recommend this for anyone in need of a skin protector.)
  4. Sunblock & After Sun Lotion (If you noticed in my picture featured above, I have a travel sized bottle of each of these but couldn’t find a link to them online. Instead I featured the full bottles products. What I like to do is if they don’t have a travel sized product that is a favorite of mine, I purchase those travel sized TSA approved bottles and fill those up with the desired product.)
  5. Friction Defense (No shame, I gotta protect these thicker thighs of mine and use this stick to avoid getting blisters. If you like wearing shorts in warm weather but have problems with your thighs rubbing, try out this stick. It’s a life saver and keeps you pain free during your vacay!)
  6. Instax Mini 70 & Film
  7. Umbrella (I own a Vera Bradley one and have had it for 7 years now. It’s a great umbrella and still in quality shape. I linked an umbrella by Vera Bradley, just with a different pattern since mine is discontinued.)
  8. Hand Sanitizer
  9. LED Compact Mirror
  10. Lip Balm
  11. Sunglasses Case (I used to always end up with broken sunglasses at the end of vacations but no more with a sunglasses case. The one I have featured about is a Disney one but I linked a super cute one from Quay Australia that I think you guys will love.)
  12. Sunglasses (I didn’t link mine featured above because they are from last year but I purchased them from Charming Charlie’s.)
  13. Travel sized perfume (I linked the one featured in my photo above.)
  14. Tums Travel Size (Just in case you get a stomach ache, these are amazing to take care of you so you can enjoy your vacation. Usually when I drink a sugary alcoholic drink, my stomach starts to hurt a little, so I just pop one of these in and they make me instantly feel better.)

I usually try to only keep the essentials in my bag only because my back starts to hurt if I carry too much around. Hope this post helps you all out in your future trips. I plan on doing more “What’s in my Bag?” soon, so make sure you stay tuned!
